US Social Security Administation
Since September 1st, Social Security has provided immediate payments to evacuees who are not able to receive their monthly benefits, whether by mail or direct deposit. Beneficiaries can go to any open Social Security office and receive an immediate payment by check that replaces the full amount of their Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment

Contact your local churches as many of them have received donations and are collecting donation to help people in need of food, clothing, housing, employment, etc.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, NAACP has launched the Disaster Relief Fund to provide immediate assistance to the worst -affected victims and mobilize resources to feed, clothe and shelter displaced victims in the worst affected areas.
